CP is the corrosion-resistant ROTRON configuration for applications where standard construction would be exposed to salt, moisture, or chemically aggressive conditions. CP models use Chem-Tough™ corrosion-resistant surface treatment on the castings, chemical-duty motors with 303 stainless steel shafts, stainless hardware throughout and nickel-plated flanges and muffler retainers. CP series blowers offer airflow up to 1500 CFM and pressure to a maximum of 7 PSIG.

When to evaluate CP

Marine and saltwater systems, coastal facilities, humid equipment rooms, ozone or chlorine areas, chemical-dosing spaces and other locations where corrosion exposure is a concern.

CP is worth pricing alongside DR more often than people expect. A standard aluminum blower in a salt-laden, humid equipment room can corrode well before its bearings reach rated life, so compare the two across the expected service life rather than only the initial purchase price.

Application review

CP products are application-sensitive and usually configured to order. Provide gas composition where applicable, required flow, inlet and outlet pressure, temperature, altitude, electrical requirements and the installation environment when requesting a quote.
