How to Replace an Existing ROTRON Blower

The fastest replacement path starts with the existing nameplate. Record the complete model, manufacturer part number, voltage, phase and frequency, then confirm whether the new unit will operate in the same system and environment.

Before ordering a replacement

  • Photograph the full nameplate, and the piping connections if you can
  • Record the complete model code and manufacturer part number
  • Confirm voltage, phase and frequency
  • Confirm inlet and discharge connection arrangement and mounting footprint
  • Check why the existing blower failed: age, corrosion, blocked airflow or another system issue
  • Confirm current lead time and whether an exact replacement or an updated configuration is required

A replacement is often the cheapest method to correct a selection that was wrong the first time. If the old blower ran hot, tripped repeatedly, or was obviously oversized and throttled, tell us and we will check the sizing rather than simply matching the part number.
